Your battery may be missing the hours that pay most.

Upload a recent bill, confirm your plan details and get a clear estimate. The first audit is free and cannot change your battery.

The problem

A high export rate is useful only if the battery exports in that window.

Powerwall settings and retailer plans do not always line up. A battery can send cheap energy out during the day, then hold back when the export rate rises.

01

Check the bill

We use the rate, window and plan name you confirm. The bill is supporting evidence, not a black-box data source.

02

Estimate the gap

We account for usable capacity, export power, backup reserve and exports already reaching the peak window.

03

Choose what to do

Keep your setup, adjust it manually or ask to join the founding automation beta. The result shows the trade-offs.

A conservative estimate

We show a range, not a magic number.

Weather, household use and plan rules move the result. Until we have live read-only data, the calculator assumes only 55–80% of the theoretical opportunity can be captured.

You keep at least 90%.

If BatteryPays later controls an eligible export, the proposed fee is 10% of verified earnings from that action, capped at A$15 per calendar month. No attributable earnings means no fee.

10% of verified eligible earnings
  • Maximum A$15 in a calendar month
  • Solar export is not billed
  • Unclear or unprovable activity is not billed
  • Your retailer pays you directly
